Mallory is currently looking for a Territory Manager to join our emerging sales team in Amarillo, Texas!

Territory Manager Position Overview:

The role of a Territory Manager is incredibly important to our team here at Mallory. It requires an eye for detail, a “hunter” mentality, a solid background in sales, and a passion for serving the customer. With an eye for continuous improvement, you will use programs, products, and solutions to create a safer and more efficient work environment. This role covers the greater West Texas area.


As a Territory Manager, you will play a key role in establishing our presence in the West Texas market. With an eye for continuous improvement, you will use programs, products, and solutions to create safer and more productive work environments for your customers. This role is perfectly suited for a “hunter.” If you are motivated by finding new business, developing relationships, and delivering wins, this is the job for you.


Territory Manager Job Duties:

  • Establishes and services new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors
  • Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor
  • Focuses sales efforts by continuously studying existing and potential volume of customers
  • Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as monthly and annual territory analyses as requested
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
  • Problem solves by working with other associates to achieve efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Resolves customer complaints and questions by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by working with suppliers, attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Territory Manager Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least five years of professional sales experience
  • Experience in the safety and industrial distribution field is highly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills across a variety of platforms
  • Self-starter spirit and proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals
  • Intermediate to Expert knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, CRMs, and other company software platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
